Tentative workshops & schedule:

April 29: Grow it Yourself, Eat it Yourself - the ultimate in eating local! Practical advice for vegetable gardening in the Foothills using raised gardens, modified cold frames & containers.

May 6: Patio Planter - make your own patio planter.

May 13: The Edible Landscape - incorporate the fruit, vegetables & herbs you love to eat into your landscape without giving up all your garden space.

May 20: Yard Makeovers- Step by step instructions to changing areas in your yard from sod to garden.

May 27: Container Water Gardening

June 3: Creating an outdoor room - privacy screening, planting, lighting & outdoor kitchen

June 10: Landscaping Large lots & Acreages - what do do with that large space without breaking the bank.

 

Other possibilties: Rock Gardening, Composting

All workshops held at Kayben Farms from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  $10.00 fee includes refreshments and handout. Pre-registration is required.
