Kayben Farms Family Events

September & October 2009...

The Pumpkin and Scarecrow Festival of 2008 was so popular, that we expanded this event for 2009. Together with the Town of Okotoks, we held a 3 week event, involving the whole community. Browse our photo's below to catch a glimpse of the fun that we had!

August 2009...

In 2006, Kayben farms held its first annual Black Currant Harvest Festival with a turnout of about 200 people. That tripled in 2007, with about 600 visitors at

our farm. We quickly realized the need for fun family events at low cost in the Foothills and Calgary area.

The 4th annual Flavours of the Foothills Festival was Bigger and Better than ever! Thank you to everyone who came out on August 22 and 23 for 2 days of fun and food for the body, mind and soul. This year's event was held at 5 locations:
Chinook Honey Company
WJ Homestead Disc Golf
MaryAnne's Eden
Leighton Art Centre
Kayben Farms

We heard you! Last year you told us that you'd prefer to pay one admission price for access to all locations. This year we had "passports" that included access to all 5 locations, including Kayben's Sunshine Adventure Park, on both days. Individual and Family Passports were available online or at the gate of any one of our 5 locations.  Tell us how this worked for you: we'd love to here from you by email.
