Kayben Farms Family Events

Hay Rides!In 2006, Kayben farms held its first annual Black Currant Harvest Festival with a turnout of about 200 people. That tripled in 2007, with about 600 visitors at our farm. We quickly realized the need for fun family events at low cost in the foothills and Calgary area. So, in 2008, Kayben Farms will be hosting three family events in June, August, and September. They are:

‘Flavours of the Foothills – Black Currant Harvest Festival’

Saturday, August 23rd 2008, 10am to 5pm - Admission $2, Children 5 and under are FREE! Wagon rides will be included in the admission price.

Join us for our 3rd annual Black Currant Harvest Festival - A fun family event that puts a spotlight on locally grown food. Held in conjunction with The Chinook Honey Company and Canadian Rocky Mountain Ranch, this event is focused on the development and diversity of farming in Alberta.
